if you have very long straight hair....put your hair in a highish and tight ponyatil if u are finding it hard ask a friend to do it for you and twist the pontail round while it is hanging like a ponytail and curl it round the base of the ponytail. it helps if you use a few ponytails to make the first ponytail so that there is more to swivel the ponytail round...

if you have very long curly/wavey or frizzy hair try gelling it or using mouse just after you wash it when the hairnis wet it will help it sit properly..and do just as above

if you have medium length haier do as above but use a few kirbie grips hair slides or clips or use a hairband to grip back some smaller hairs at the front...

if you have short hair (above shoulder length) do not try ans bun your hair put it in a ponytail and put some pretty clips and a fabric hairband in and you will look very good

if you are having trouble with your hair for ballet go and buy a bun net it helps..

Use gel or hair spray. Slick it back into a ponytail. Place a donut (made for bun making) around the ponytail and place a rubberband over the hair so that it folds around the back of the donut. Use bobby pins to keep the hair under the donut. As long as you wash and condition your hair often - the gel and hairspray won't harm it.
look. first it helps if u take a shower b4 practice. i know that u get sweaty but it helps to put up your hair first. then barely blowdry it straight then brush it back. put your hair into a ponytail and then take and twirl it and then rapp it around your ponytail holder. then take a rubber band and rapp it....i promise it works.
Use two rubber bands instead of one to make it tight. it doesnt even necessarily have to be high, as long as the hair if oss your neck. What I usually do is use to bands ot put it up, then make a messy bun (frankly, im really uncoordinated!), then put another band around that. This si where a hair net is so useful so I really do reccommend them. You'll put that around tehe bu a few times ot hold the ends down. then use pics ot secure it. I like those old lady pins, the wggley ones, as opposed to bobby pins.
My hair is about the same length...I pull my hair up the tightest I can...then take an old, clean sock...cut the toes out of it and roll cut end to top of sock...it'll look like a huge scrunchie...put the ponytail through the rolled sock and spread the ponytail from the middle-out over the rolled sock and twist any excessive hair around the sock countre clock wise bobby pinning it as you go...then any sprigs of hair that didn't go up in the ponytail can be hairsprayed and bobby pinned...
First of all to get a tight pony tail you need to have a thick strong hair tie. you need to rap it around untill it's tight. then you should seperate your hair in half and pull out to tighten it to your head.

next make sure you buy bobby pins LOTS of them!

twist your hair and rap it around your hair tie so it looks like a bun. hold it tight and use bobby pins to secure it. you will need at leased 6 to hold it tightly on there

then if you want you can put hair spray in your hair to get rid of the frizzy's

i hope that helps :)

it is soooo much easier to make a bun in hair that is wet. then after you put it in a really tight ponytail, twist your hair into a bun, then put another alastic aound it or some open bobby pins! (put lots of hair spray in it)
